Annona ubatubensis

Annona ubatubensis, also known as Aratimoia, is a very rare, small tree native/restricted toendemic to Brazil. It is native only to the semidrops leaves annuallydeciduous Atlantic coastal forest in southern Brazil. The tree has one main leaf - not compoundsimple, oblong leaves and small, cream-colored flowers.

These flowers are followed by small, yellowish to orange fruits with a rough surface. The tree typically grows to a height of 6 to 8 meters, with a trunk that is generally divide into twobifurcated, with a thin, smooth bark that is brown and greenish in color.
