Tufted perennial to 60 cm with smooth stems. Leaves sword-shaped, leathery with veins prominent, silky at base. Flower heads discoid, in lax corymbs, pink or white, bracts smooth. Nov.--Jan. Rocky sandstone slopes, NW, SW, ?AP, KM, LB, SE (Cedarberg Mts to Grahamstown).
