Stemless, much branched succulent perennial. Leaves more than twice as long as broad, becoming broader toward the apex. Flowers solitary, pale yellow. Fruits with large closing bodies. Apr.--June. Stony, NE-facing slopes, KM, LB (Karoo and Little Karoo).
