SUMMARY
Stem up to 1.5 cm thick. Cataphylls 8 - 10 cm long. LEAVES: Petiole sulcate adaxially, 25 - 40 cm long, geniculum 2 - 3 cm long and shallowly sulcate. Leaf blade oblong-ovate-cordate, [outline] curving at first extrorsely and then introrsely, gradually contracted into a long cusp, 20 - 25 cm lolng, lower third 12 - 14 cm wide, posterior lobes rounded, separated by a shallow, acute-angled sinus, basal primary lateral veins 3 on each side, the innermost curving below and transforming into a collective vein 2 cm distant from the margin, the next outermost exiting into the margin in the lowermost third of the leaf blade, the outermost very slender, strongly curved, soon terminating in the margin, primary lateral veins of the midrib ca. 10 on each side, distant from one another, patent. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle a little longer than the petiole, 25 - 40 cm long. Spathe linear-lanceolate, cuspidate, a little decurrent at the base, about 5 cm long, with a cusp 0.5 cm long. Spadix shortly stipitate, 5 - 6 cm long, 5 - 6 mm thick. Berries spheroid, pale green, deep green at the apex, 5 mm in diam.
