Morphology
Imbricate. Gregarious. Pileus: up to 7 cm broad, semicircular, dimidiate or flabelliform to irregular, often umbonate; membranous-elastic when fresh and coriaceous when dry, broadly attached; surface hirsute to hispid, yellow-ochraceous or grayish-white, in older specimens often covered by green algae or with a reddish-brown cutis; margin wavy, sometimes radiately plicate, thinning outwards, usually whitish-cream to gray. Context: whitish-cream. Hymenophore: smooth to slightly tuberculate, often with radial concentric ridges; light-yellow to orange-grayish. Usually sessile. Odor-Taste: not distinctive. Spore print: white. Spores: ellipsoid-cylindrical, smooth, often with internal oil-drops, amyloid.

Global distribution. Altitude: 1700 – 2850 m a.s.l. Colombian departments: Antioquia,Bogotá D.C., Boyacá, Caquetá, Cauca, Chocó, Cundinamarca, Huila, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, Valle del Cauca.
Ecology
Saprotroph. - Wood saprotroph. Habitat/ecology: on bark and wood of trunks, twigs, or stumps of a wide range of dead or living deciduous trees; in disturbed tropical cloud forest; in mixed oak-dominated forest.
