Rodrigues Palm CFA Edition Giclee print framed in a beautiful Italian wood veneer with a distressed silver inner and outer lip. Custom framed with acrylic and acid free foam core. The back is closed with a dust cover and easy to hang with the hook and wire attached on the back. This is a very high quality moulding and the veneer is a black color with a hint of chocolate brown. The giclee is printed on acid free cotton rag paper with archival inks. The moulding is about 7/8ths of an inch thick. The overall size is 14.75 inches wide and 20.75 inches tall.
João Barbosa Rodrigues (1842-1909)was a Dutch botanist and botanical artist. He was the author and illustrator of this work titled Brazilian Palm Tree Studies. It was first published in 1903 and is one of the greatest works on palm trees ever produced.
