Hard to find, healthy, and fully rooted live yuccas! This is the non-variegated, regular 'Green' form of Spanish Dagger thought to be the naturally occurring hybrid of Yucca aloifolia and Yucca filimentosa. Featuring gorgeous spikes of bell shape flowers bloom from spring through mid-summer and the smell is wonderful! This plant attracts hummingbirds and is truly striking in full sun conditions. Dark blue/green spears are finely bordered with a bronze/black outer line. This form of Spanish Dagger is impressive and can reach heights of 8 to 12+ feet, forming multiple heads depending on climate conditions. It is a moderate to fast grower, and has performed incredibly well in our cold high desert climate in central Oregon! It is hardy to at least USDA zone 6, and parent plants have seen temperatures well below -12F. These particular plants were grown from seed collected on our personal property in Oregon which is listed as a zone 6b, so they should hold good cold hardiness. These plants would make excellent additions to your hardy exotic plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard!
