Description

Thryptomene johnsonii is a shrub species in the family Myrtaceae that is endemic to Western Australia. The bushy shrub has rigid branches and typically grows to a height of 2 metres (7 ft). It blooms between September and October producing pink flowers. It is found on sand plains and slopes in the Mid West region of Western Australia around Northampton where it grows in sandy soils over sandstone.
