Acanthostachys strobilacea is a species of perennial herb in the family bromeliads. They are native to Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, The Neotropics, Minas Gerais, Rio De Janeiro, Paraná, SãO Paulo, Maranhao, and Cerrado. Flowers are visited by Bananaquit and Planalto Hermit.
