Shieldaig must be one of the most picturesque villages in Scotland. Its location is truly superb, on the edge of Loch Shieldaig, an offshoot of Loch Torridon. Shieldaig is situated amidst some of the most magnificent coastal and mountain scenery in the whole of the UK. Just a short distance further up the coast from Shieldaig are the wonderful Torridon Hills including Beinn Alligin, Sgurr Mhor, Liathach and Beinn Eighe.
