SCREAM 6 Casts MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE and READY OR NOT Actor Henry Czerny
Mission: Impossible and Ready of Not actor Henry Czerny is the latest actor to join Scream 6. The sequel will continue the story of “the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.” It’s also been revealed that the sequel will take place outside of Woodsboro in New York City.
Czerny is a great character actor, and it’ll be interesting to see who he ends up playing in the film. He joins Melissa Barrera as Sam, Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy, Mason Gooding as Chad, Jenna Ortega as Tara, and Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding, Insidious Chapter 3, Zodiac). Courteney Cox is coming back along with Scream 4 star Hayden Panettiere. Neve Cambell has said that she will not return.
New young cast members include Jack Champion (Avatar: The Way of Water), Liana Liberato (The Beach House), Devyn Nekoda (Ghostwriter), and Josh Segarra (Arrow).
The movie is being developed by Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Scream, Ready or Not) with James Vanderbilt (Scream, Murder Mystery) and Guy Busick (Scream, Ready or Not) co-writing the screenplay.
Ghostface returns to theaters on March 31, 2023.
