Casting news: Actor Oscar Isaac co-stars with Academy Award winner Christian Bale in The Promise
Princess Grace Awards winner, Oscar Isaac has just been cast in The Promise which begins production this fall in Southern Europe. Set during the final days of the Ottoman Empire, Isaac will play Michael, a medical student who is in love with the same woman as Chris, an American journalist played by Academy Award winner (The Fighter) Christian Bale.He soon becomes conflicted by old-world traditions and his heart. Filmmaker, Terry George (Hotel Rwanda) will direct from a script he co-wrote with writer, Robin Swicord (Memoirs of a Geisha) to tell this love triangle tale.
