Songshu is becoming a Miniature Pine Forest!🌲🌲🌲 ☀️On May 23rd of this year, Sōngshù suffered from severe Neem Oil burns that resulted in most leaves being chemically burnt. I had gone out that day and completely forgot that I had placed Sōngshù in a spot that gets bright, direct light ALL AFTERNOON. I had tried to tend to his wounds and give him the best care that I could give, but thought that he had already gone through a lot. 📸On May 27th, I decided to prune him, almost completely. He was a gift from my 20th birthday (2 years ago) and wanted to start from scratch as I've never seen this baby fully thrive. *Pics are in order. ⚡️Since the *emotionally brutal pruning, he has been doing nothing but T-H-R-I-V-I-N-G! ✨Look at him go! Happy #FreshLeafFriday Y’all! 🌿🤍 🪴I need you guys to see Sōngshù’s growth. He’s an amazing plant, has a beautiful soul and his will to keep on going encourages me. These past couple of days have been so mentally and emotionally draining, but as days have passed, I’ve found myself relating to Sōngshù. •He’s been burnt out (Neem oil burnt his poor leaves) •Decided to cut things from his life (received a pruning) •Has learned to grow without these things and has worked on himself. 📸 First Image : May 23, 2022 (Day of Pruning) 📸 Second Image : May 27, 2022 📸 Third Image : June 2, 2022 ❗️Again, this is also a #mentalhealth check to make sure everyone is okay as well.
