A Gorgeous Evergreen Vine With Snowy White Flowers

The Armandii Snowdrift Clematis will cover and brighten any space you plant it in!

Leathery dark evergreen leaves climb up the vines and retain their color all year long.

In late winter and early spring, pure white flowers cover the vines like snowfall.

The fragrance is breathtaking and will fill your garden or patio with an intoxicating, sweet and floral aroma.

  • Grows steadily, then takes off – Though it takes a couple of years to establish and get going, the Snowdrift can cover any surface in no time at all after a few growing seasons.

  • Low watering needs – Most decorative florals need a lot of water, but the Snowdrift is drought tolerant

  • Resistant to pests – Rabbits, slugs and snails, that are often destructive to decorative vines, isn’t a fan of the Snowdrift.

There are so many uses for the Armandii Snowdrift Clematis…

Wrap a trellis in the vines to create an enchanting entrance to your garden.

Enclose your porch or patio in the vines to create a magical and private space.

The enticing fragrance of the snow-white flowers covering the dark green leaves will enchant you and your guests for years to come.

The Snowdrift grows quickly, so order yours today to add this captivating addition to your landscape.

Planting & Care

Plant your Armandii Snowdrift Clematis in a spot that receives full sun but is safe from cold, dry winds. If you need to plant your Snowdrift in the shade, make sure the shade is open and warm. Shade over the roots can be helpful but not necessary. Plant in a hole that is twice as wide but only as deep as the root ball. Do not over-cover the top of the root. Water to settle.

Watering: This vine can tolerate wet or dry conditions. Be sure to water the vine weekly in its young life to ensure proper growth. After a couple of years, you only need to water the tree during very dry spells. Avoid overwatering if you live in a humid climate.

Pruning: Pruning is not necessary and can inhibit growth if overdone. Only prune overcrowded or tangled areas in late winter.

Toxicity: This plant is toxic to dogs if ingested.
