Jadakiss is strong and healthy even at 48, and he has put his physical fitness on full display in a new social media clip.

On Tuesday (December 19), the “Put Ya Hands Up” rapper shared a brief video to his Instagram Stories in which he’s covered in thick winter clothes inside a gymnasium. His getup, however, clearly didn’t stop him from getting to work.

Despite the constraints of his outfit, he can be seen jumping up and grabbing one gymnastic ring in each hand. Once he pulls himself up and suspends himself above ground, the New York City native rotates his body completely as he does a 360 with his arms steady.

On the Hip Hop side of things, The LOX were honored with a once-in-a-lifetime accolade in their home state of New York late last week. In mid-December, the legendary Yonkers trio comprising Styles P, Jadakiss and Sheek Louch performed at the Westchester County Center.

The concert was to commemorate the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Money, Power & Respect, as well as Hip Hop’s 50th birthday.

In the spirit of the countless Hip Hop 50 celebrations that have taken place this year, the three-piece were presented with a congressional proclamation by Congressman Jamaal Bowman during the show.

“It is an incredible honor as the Congressman for NY-16 to recognize the brilliant career of Yonkers own The LOX with a congressional proclamation,” Bowman wrote on Instagram alongside a video clip showing the rappers accepting their framed decrees.

“Hip Hop helped raise me and the artistry of the LOX was part of that upbringing. Shout out to Yonkers, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, the rest of 914, and the Bronx for their contributions to Hip Hop and beyond!”

Congressman Bowman wasn’t the only special guest at the event.
