Show more "We are proud to have opened the borough’s first purpose-built Extra Care scheme, Hare Hill, at Littleborough, marking a defining moment in the way that the borough cares for older people.
The scheme includes 41 two-bed and two one-bed apartments and enables residents to lead independent lives with the reassurance that help is available whenever needed. A dedicated care team together with a range of assistive technology tailored to your individual needs enable you to retain your independence.
The Extra Care scheme also has a community café and hair salon (both of which are open to the local community), an attractive garden, facilities for residents to pursue hobbies and interests and a comfortable lounge area. In addition it offers easy access to local amenities such as the beautiful Hare Hill Park, the library and shops.
Hare Hill is run in partnership with Rochdale Borough Council which has appointed a care provider. This Extra Care facility is available to all homeowners and tenants who have the appropriate care requirements.
