Magnolia delavayi

Magnolia delavayi in an interesting evergreen species often sought after by florists. It has an unsual flowering habit over 2 nights with the first evening opening female just on dusk, then the following evening opening half an hour earlier in the male phase. The flowers are quite perfumed when opening and you can smell them before you see them.
