Abstract

Octopoma N.E.Br. GC 1930: 72; GC 1930: 126; Hartmann Bradleya 1998: 70–74; Hartmann 2001: 188–190 Typus O. octojuge (L.Bolus) N.E.Br. Etym Gk okto, eight, poma, lid, cover “in allusion to the valves of the capsule, which are frequently eight in number”.
