The genus Hypoestes (Acanthaceae) in Angola

Summary

A synoptic account of the genus Hypoestes (Acanthaceae) in Angola is presented, including a key to the four species known from the country. The new species Hypoestes ecbolioides I. Darbysh. is described and illustrated from southwest Angola and its affinities and conservation status are discussed.
