Abstract

Uromyces striatus on Trifolium repens from District Swat and U. strobilanthis on Strobilanthes urticifolia from District Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan, are described based on morpho-anatomy and molecular data. This is the first detailed description of these species in Pakistan, along with the first complete molecular phylogeny inferred from 28S rDNA gene sequences. These are new reports from Pakistan.
