Abstract
Begonia xilitlensis, a new species inBegonia sectionGireoudia from Mexico is described, illustrated, and discussed, and the taxonomic and nomenclatural status of two others,Begonia glandulosa andB. stigmosa, is evaluated with a lectotype chosen for the former.
