Abstract

Mangifera indica has its origin in India and Myanmar. From the specimens at Kew, it was also found wild in China (Fukien, Yunan, Hainan), Peninsular Malaysia (Kuantan in Pahang and Perak), and Sri Lanka. It is widely cultivated in the tropics and subtropics.
