Ctenophora (/tɪˈnɒfərə/; singular ctenophore, /ˈtɛnəfɔːr/ or /ˈtiːnəfɔːr/; from the Greek κτείς kteis ‘comb’ and φέρω pherō ‘carry’; commonly known as comb jellies) is a phylum of invertebrate animals that live in marine waters worldwide.
