Ding Ding Sheng

Stopped here after my first lunch choice ended up being closed. Meaning, I was not initially planning on dining here. There is indoor seating and it was fairly empty for a week day at 12pm, only 1 other table was full. There was 1 server who I was unable to communicate with as I can't speak German or Chinese but they hand you a huge menu. The menu has laminated pages with pictures of each dish and basic descriptions in German and English. Just point at the item you want. The speed of getting the food was slow if you have limited time but it's reasonable given that each dish was cooked to order and was hot at the table. I got fried spinach, shrimp dumplings and shrimp noodle soup. All dishes were ok. The dumplings were a bit chewy and I got a tiny bit of hard gristle or something in one of the dumplings. The spinach was fresh and cooked well and just light garlic. The soup was piping hot, shrimp was tender but the broth was mild. It could have used bolder flavor. A water refill was not offered but maybe that's an American thing. The total was 38 euros and bring cash. Many restaurants especially the small mom and pop restaurants are cash or German debit card only. The restaurant itself is on a busy street with lots of restaurants and stores nearby and tons of foot traffic with commuters walking to work, locals and tourists. I'm always nervous when eating overseas so the good news is that all items agreed with me = no food poisoning so that's a plus. Overall, just ok for me. I like to support small family restaurants but for me, the flavors could use a boost, slow food wait times and I felt the food was expensive for what I got, so no plans to return for me.

Solid, but unspectacular. Came here for lunch and got the map tofu served with rice. I was a bit disappointed with the spice level - it was too little spice for my taste.

Menu is huge with a lot of interesting items. Although the mapo tofu wasn't amazing, it was good and I might be back to try some other menu items.

Interested in this Chinese place before, recently stopped by while doing laundry at Wash World nearby, ordered one Sichuan and another Northern Chinese dish, very decent, big portion and reasonable price, service was also good.

Recommend to have a try, they typically open until 11pm.

After 10 days abroad, I just wanted a change of pace. I really enjoyed the crunchy spicy duck dish - it was a welcome respite to Germanic cuisine, but would have been as good anywhere in the world.

Service was friendly and it was very clean. I saw the owner warmly greeting a table of regulars and that made me smile!

Bad service but food is OK. We ordered 100 euro worth of food but the receipt comes to be 154 euro?! Really? All receipt in German and I started itemize the food. It came out to be 110 euro and she over charges us by 40 euros. After I complain, the lady boss did not even say sorry....it seems that I was the one that mis counted, omg....And this place is cash only. Typical for Asian run business. Well, I am not going back, bye bye la!

If you are a Chinese , and looking for really Chinese food , please come here , good food, and comfort your Chinese stomach .

This is a great little hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. Come here if you want a lot of delicious food for not very much money! We came here for a quick dinner and were more than satisfied with the selection and the quality of the food we ordered. They have a specials board that's written only in Chinese, so maybe that's the really good stuff!!! But if you're looking for somewhere to eat near the Hauptbahnhof that's fast, good, and not too expensive then definitely come here.

horrible slow service, and boss is very rude also judgmental. food is ok, server is nice. worst place I Have ever been to will never come back. would give it a 0 star if I could.

Chinese restaurant with authentic menus in front of Frankfurt Central Station. They offer lots of Chinese specialties and maybe that's why there are always Chinese guests having theirs meals. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in town.

Nice and really tasty Chinese restaurant, friendly and helpful service, we couldn't speak Chinese at all and wanted to order food from the chinese menu, the waiter was so patiently describe the dishes for us. That was a really nice experience. Really recommended
