Q:
Does Sals take reservations?
A:
I would assume that they do but would suggest calling them to confirm.
John M.Â5 months agoQ:
How many people do the "family feasts" serve?
A:
Our family of six at the feast for two dinners and one lunch! To be safe, I'd say it feeds 10-12.

Party of 8, from out of town on a holiday weekend usually spells out something will be screwed up. Well, we couldn't have had a better experience!! Food and service was great and the portion sizes gave almost all of us lunch for the next day! Will definitely be returning here again when in the area!!

Sal's has great food. We've never had anything that was not excellent. We love their pizza. The staff is always friendly and service is fast.

We were starving after Busch gardens and kind of upset we weren't able to use some vouchers because it was so packed. Getting to sals was the best surprise. Quick and friendly service. Lots of options and the food tastes authentic. The antipasto salad was so delicious, even my picky daughter had seconds. The pizza was huge and tasty. I will go back if I go to Williamsburg again.

Honestly, I'd rate this restaurant 2 stars for the quality of food, but they offered good service. I ordered delivery about an hour and a half before they closed. The delivery man was really pleasant and delivery was fast. I tipped him $10 because it was raining cats and dogs. I didn't realize how bad it was raining and felt bad. We ordered a
Mozzarella Stromboli with pepperoni, the meat Lasagna that came with a house salad and garlic bread and a cesare salad. The food was just ok. It seemed hastily thrown together. The Lasagna was so soupy and the flavor really wasn't there. The garlic bread had so much garlic it made me gag and that's coming from Someone that loves garlic. The Stromboli was HUGE and pretty good until you got to the center which had a pocket of grease that poured out. The dough was soaked through and extremely chewy except on the ends. The salads were excellent.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sarah J.New Bern, NC0124Jul 17, 2021
Stopped here around 8 pm and only had to wait about 10 mins for a table. The lobster ravioli was great. Honestly, the highlight of the meal was the cheesy garlic bread. So good.

Excellent Italian food, including wine and pastries. Fast, efficient service. Even the appetizers are first rate.

Came here with my family and we loved our meals! We ordered the meat lovers calzone, chicken cacciatore, pasta pescatore, veggie lasagna, and eggplant rigatoni. Everything was fresh and delicious including the complimentary bread and salads. Loved their tomato sauce and service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone coming to town!

Sal's was good. Nice people. Seated quickly. Mozz sticks were good. Marinara was very tasty. Bruschetta fresh.
Our small mushroom/pepp pizza came a bit earlier than the other orders. We don't eat until everyone's food is at the table so the pizza had cooled a bit by the time we ate it. It was tasty. Had great flavor.
Daughter had wings. She liked them. Son had Chicken Fillet that he thought was overly breaded and overcooked. We had to agree. Even looking at it you could tell.
Overall a great lunch.
We would come back, yes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Larry M.Jamesburg, NJ1139Mar 31, 2021
Went to Sal's by Victor on Sunday evening while on vacation.
Everyone was friendly and courteous. Our waitress was quick and efficient. We ordered and came out quickly but not quite correct.
As usual, if anyone in my family meals is messed up it's mine. I ordered the Victors' Sampler but got the Chef Sampler. Took it back inside, wasn't gonna wait until she came back outside which most of us know doesn't happen until close to desert, and it was eventually replaced with the correct meal.
Although my family's food was good, mine was fair. Food was saturated with marinara sauce that had no seasoning and tasted like it came straight from a can. Wife tried and she agreed. It was the same bland sauce served with the calamari. Also, I love cheese but there was way too much, possible to hide the sauce.
A positive: probably the best chicken soup I have ever eaten. Nice broth without overpowering flavours and so much chicken I was full after eating the crock they give you. Bread, especially the Italian was delicious. Warm, soft inside but crispy, not burnt, outside.
Lastly, if your going to put up decorative lights outside, make sure they work. Our section had about 100 lights strung but only 2 worked. Out in front of the restaurant it was similar.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
