Phalaenopsis mannii – Found through the eastern Indian Himalayas, Assam, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Myanmar, southern China and Vietnam at elevations of 500 to 1500 meters in humid broadleafed evergreen forests with dense undergrowth near streams and rivers on rough barked trees even though there is not much falling rain as a small to just medium sized, warm to cool growing, pendulous epiphytic species with a short stem enveloped by imbricating leaf bases carrying 4 to 5, oblong-oblanceolate to oblong-ligulate, shiny, fleshy, acute, medium green leaves. They like shady areas with high humidity and a distinctly drier winter rest that helps initiate spring blooming on a slender, pendulous, to 18" [45 cm] long, racemose or rarely paniculate, laxly many [to 70] flowered inflorescence that is as long as the leaves with small ovate-lanceolate bracts with mandarin orange scented, waxy, long-lived flowers appearing in succesion.
They are best grown slabbed on cork or tree fern because of their pendant growth habit.

- We normally ship by Priority USPS; or FedEx or UPS for large boxes.
- We will combine shipping where possible; some orders may be in multiple boxes.
- Plant may or may not ship with flowers.
- We cannot guarantee a delivery gets to a specific address in the time frame requested due to current shipping conditions.
- Time to arrival/delivery quotes are generated by USPS, Fed Ex, UPS, not Orchid Design. Also keep in mind the package will not travel in a direct route but rather from one shipping hub to another.
- If damage occurs in shipping and you want to file a claim with USPS, FedEx, or UPS, it is your responsibility to file a claim.
