Information
Scrambling shrub, young branchlets yellowish-pubescent. Leaves with blade ovate, up to 8 x 3.2 cm, acute at the apex, sparsely pubescent on veins; petiole up to 8 mm long. Flowers in up to 14 cm long terminal and axillary spikes with lanceolate bracts c. 15 x 3 mm. Lower receptacle 3–3.5 mm long, densely pubescent, upper narrowly tubular but widening towards the apex, up to 25 mm long, sparsely pubescent. Petals c. 6 x 3 mm, oblong-ovate; filaments 4–6 mm long. Fruits 5-winged, subcircular in outline, up to 3.2 cm long, sparsely pubescent with short hairs; wings c. 12 mm wide; stipe up to 6 mm long.
