                        Uses

Medicinal : Adonis microcarpa is, at low doses, an effective cardiotonic and diuretic (contains adonidoside and adoniverdoside whose activity is intermediate and complementary to that of digitalin and ouabain) but leads to anuria at high doses. Its use remains strictly subject to the advice of a doctor.
