Mozambique. Also on tropical African coasts from Senegal to D.R. Congo in the west and Somalia to Tanzania in the east.
Ecology
Seashores and dunes just above high tide mark, often with Ipomoea pes-caprae, Sophora imhambanensis, Scaevola plumieri etc.; 0–25m.
Conservation
Least Concern because of its wide distribution.
