This species is accepted
The native range of this species is Tropical & S. Africa, W. Indian Ocean, Arabian Peninsula to Indian Subcontinent. It is a perennial and grows primarily in the subtropical biome. It is has environmental uses, as animal food, a poison and a medicine and for food.
