Carruanthus ringens
Carruanthus is a small genus in the Aizoaceae, or Ice Plant Family, with only 2 species. Like the plants in the larger genus Faucaria, they have leaves with toothy edges. but they have stalked flowers that rise like parasols above the foliage. In contrast, the flowers in Faucaria are nestled among the leaves. Our plant of Carruanthus ringens is flowering especially well this year.
