PRINCIPAL

Jason has had a targeted career with a clear goal of designing zoos. As a lover of wildlife and wild places, Jason has found a deep satisfaction in working with zoos and aquariums to design opportunities for animals to live flourishing lives, and for people to experience the wonders of nature in our ever-urbanizing communities. His career has been rich with insights gained from many facets of the zoo world, spanning from hands-on experience in the daily care of elephants to master planning wildlife habitats around the world.

Throughout his career, Jason has been involved in the design of award-winning habitats. From initial vision, he is a guiding force within teams, communicating with both ease and clarity. He is adept at working with groups, eliciting feedback and coordinating team efforts, maximizing the expertise each member brings to the team. With a reverence for history and a thirst for knowledge, he is poised to ask the important questions, fusing the best of past, present and future into something new and wonderful. His sharp mind and design savvy are key to the creation of concepts that resound with the force of nature and the power of well-conceived places for people.
