Richard B Lewis Richard B Lewis At the age of fifteen Ricky taught himself to play guitar, and shortly after he put together his first punk rock band, igniting a passion in him which would lead to the formation of the group Black Dolls, with whom he recorded an EP and played numerous live shows sharing stages with groups such as Michael Davis (MC5), Blisterhead, OJM, Tragicz, and Small Jackets to name a few. In 2008 he joined Anarcotici, recorded the album "Io non credo alle fate”, and had the honor of playing with the likes of Scott Kelly (Neurosis), Luci della Centrale Elettrica, One Family, Lucertolas, and Giorgio Canali. Wanting to experiment with more acoustic oriented sounds, in 2010 Ricky formed In my June with Anarcotici vocalist Paolo. The band, which is still together, has to date released two albums with Garage Records and are working on a third. Over the years In My June has had the opportunity to play with several internationally renowned bands such as I like Trains, Dead Gaze and many others. In 2016, Ricky decided to embark on a solo project under the moniker Richard B. and the Drop Inside. The resulting debut album, "City of Souls" is a seductive mix of folk and rock – the perfect setting for the artist’s introspective lyrics.
