Full sun-part shade; low water, drought tolerant. Ornamental grass forms soft, airy clumps to 2-3ft tall and as wide. Flowers bloom a greenish color is summer to late fall and then mature to a golden color. Striking planted alone or in large masses or drifts. Indescribable when backlit by the setting sun or landscape lighting. Thrives in poor soil. Readily reseeds; has been identified as invasive.
