James McLoughlin is a British-Australian writer, based in London.

His first feature script INCIDENT AT THE PETROL STATION is in development with Oskar Pimlott and Antony Ing (of Loop) and he has a second feature with Pulse Films and BFI. James’ is work is quietly radical. He uses genre beats to brilliantly propel politically-charged stories and complex character studies. Alongside his active developments, he is writing an original television spec and several new ideas.

In parallel to writing, he has worked in script development for companies including Kudos, Protagonist Pictures, Amazon Studios, eOne, Working Title, BBC Films, Film4, BFI and Baby Cow.
