Sharon Lawrence has landed lead roles in a trio of indie features —  “The Waves of Grace,” “Solace” and “Una Vida.”

The “NYPD. Blue” star will first co-star opposite Annika Marks in Heath Jones’ “The Waves of Grace,” which centers on the journey to sobriety of a desperate young alcoholic ordered to attend 90 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings after an arrest in a small Florida Beach town. Lawrence will portray a recovering alcoholic who befriends the young alcoholic.

Lensing is currently underway in Florida. Jones is producing and directing from his own script.

Lawrence will then join Afonso Poyart’s mystery thriller “Solace” opposite Anthony Hopkins, Abbie Cornish, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Colin Farrell in the story of a talented psychic who assists the FBI in tracking down a serial killer. Lawrence will portray a tightly wound mother whose murdered son lies at the heart of the mystery.

Shooting on “Solace” began in mid-May in Detroit with Beau Flynn, Tripp Vinson and Adam Yoelin producing.

Lawrence will then star in Richie Adams’ “Una Vida,” centered on a medical researcher’s quest to reunite a former street musician with her illegitimate son. She will portray the role of the researcher’s wife. Brent Caballero and Nicholas Bazan are producing.
