Vice Chairman, Worldwide Production
Parent’s track record speaks for itself. Her projects have grossed over $20 billion at the worldwide box office — nearly $5 billion of that from movies she made as a sole producer — and include hefty titles such as Oscar winner “The Revenant.” Like many of her producer colleagues, Parent’s year has been defined by tenacity in the face of a theatrical marketplace rebounding from COVID-19 as well as the abrupt work stoppages from the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. In addition to wrapping Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi sequel “Dune: Part Two” in 2023, Legendary shot a live-action adaptation of ubiquitous video game “Minecraft,” starring Jason Momoa. Upcoming releases include a remake of 1978 cult classic “Faces of Death” and the biblical epic “The Book of Clarence,” with LaKeith Stanfield in the title role.
