Notably, it stands out for its cold hardiness, making it one of the hardier species within the Annona genus.

Fruits: Small, yellowish to orange fruits with a rough surface. The whitish translucent flesh is edible and sweet, reminiscent of Cherimoya.

Health Potential: Annona Ubatubensis shares similarities with Annona muricata, and both plants have demonstrated promising compounds with potential applications in cancer treatment. Extracts from A. Muricata, in particular, are known for their effectiveness against cancer cells.
