Ferguson’s fishy justice takes a fishier turn

There’s a chance you got a check in the mail from Attorney General Bob Ferguson over the holidays. There’s also a chance a dead relative might have gotten one too.
For those of you in need of some context, this has to do with anecdotes swirling around the web that a portion of some $40.6 million Ferguson recently recovered from a price-fixing scheme by Big Tuna and Big Chicken was mailed out to the deceased. In that earlier story, we noted that the power to send out such checks was one of the many advantages of running for governor from the AG’s office.
The actual execution of that has been, well, bumpy.
