Habitat: Marsh Yellow Cress prefers full or partial sun with wet to moist conditions, and a soil containing loam, clay, or silt. Look for Marsh Yellow Cress in muddy borders of ponds and small rivers, marshes, openings in floodplain woodlands, prairie swales, sloughs through meadows, poorly drained fallow fields, and ditches.
