Following the success of our retro shirt release last season and increasing demand for the return of Wimbledon cycle shirts, we’re delighted to introduce the 1994/95 cycle shirt!
Our retail department, together with our kitman and keen cyclist Robin ‘Rocket’ Bedford, have come up with an awesome combination. Manufactured by our Dutch friends at COPA, the 100% polyester shirt is machine washable and features breathable mesh side and back panels, aero sleeves, full length zip with cam lock puller, three rear pockets and a reflective strip on the lower back.
For a guide on sizing, both Isaac Ogundere and Morgan Williams are wearing a size Large in these photos and they normally wear a size Medium in their playing shirts.
And there’s a lot more to come from the Club Shop, as Retail Manager Mat Haylock explains: ‘I’ve spoken before about how we’re trying to expand our range even more this season, but there’s always a lag of a few months from when you make that call to when products start arriving.
“I’m really excited that we’re now at the point where it seems that every other day we’re getting a delivery of a brand new product – it’s one of the best parts of the job, only beaten by the feeling when you see our fans grabbing those products off the shelves.”
In the last week alone, the shop has taken delivery of new caps, hats, scarves, gloves, ornaments, polos, fleece jackets, shackets and pyjamas, with plenty more arriving every week. We’ve even commissioned our first ever jigsaw puzzle!
And fans of retro are in for a treat over the next few weeks with some new designs of the popular pixelated socks due in next week and a new range from a past era expected at the end of October.
