Susan Ferguson, MD, of Madison, has joined the medical services team of Agrace, a nonprofit, community-supported health care organization that provides hospice care, supportive (palliative) care, non-medical personal care, adult day services and grief support across southern Wisconsin.
As a hospice and palliative physician, Dr. Ferguson is a member of the interdisciplinary team that coordinates end-of-life care for Agrace’s hospice patients and their families. She oversees care plans for patients receiving care in their homes, facilities, hospitals or at Agrace’s hospice inpatient units.
Dr. Ferguson is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and hospice and palliative medicine. She earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center and completed her internal medicine residency at Providence St. Vincent Hospital in Portland, Ore. Prior to joining Agrace, Dr. Ferguson was a physician in pulmonary medicine at SSM Health.
“Dr. Ferguson is dedicated to serving Agrace’s hospice and palliative patients,” said Patricia Neuman, DO, Agrace’s vice president of medical services. “She brings unique experiences and expertise to our team to help us provide exceptional care to our patients and their families.”
