Lady Gaga's Makeup-Free Selfie Belongs in the Louvre

Her eyebrows. How are we not talking about her perfect eyebrows every single day?

Lady Gaga changes her makeup style more often than some frat guys change their underwear. One of the most prolific beauty chameleons of our time, she's bounced from edgy and avant-garde to Old Hollywood glam to goth and everything in between. But whether she's hopping from one polar-opposite makeup look to another or sticking with something steadily for a while, one thing remains true: the award-winning singer, actor, and beauty-brand entrepreneur gives us a peek at her makeup-free face every now and then and stuns us with her natural beauty every time.

On Tuesday, April 19, Gaga shared a quick glance at her no-makeup visage with a selfie video posted to her Instagram Stories. Although she's clearly using a filter — unless she's somehow naturally surrounded by iridescent pixie dust, which honestly isn't beyond the realm of possibility with Lady Gaga — it's also clear that her skin is almost offensively radiant.

Gaga's definitely feeling herself — and rightfully so — as she smiles and admires her reflection while reclining in a white bralette. She doesn't appear to be wearing a hint of makeup — not even mascara — and we're incredibly jealous of how full her dark-brown brows look without any help from a pencil or pomade.

Gaga posted another makeup-free selfie to her grid earlier in the day, though it was not quite as easy to see her face. The mirror shot is pulled back quite a bit, and she's wearing sunglasses, but one thing is clear: She's eager to get back on the road. "Happier than eva…wishin u joy so excited for tour, ready to live that stadium life again ❤️," she wrote in the caption.

It's been a while since Gaga has posted a makeup-free selfie to the grid, but we fondly recall the time she went bare-faced and towel-wrapped with a Tiffany necklace after the 2019 Oscars. Prior to that, she was posting no-makeup selfies much more frequently, but considering she runs a makeup company, we can understand why she usually sticks to more done-up looks in public and on social media these days. Still, it's always nice to see Gaga flaunt her fresh face.
