Just one month after it first hit the market for $40 million, Phil Collins’s Miami Beach mansion has found a new owner. According to The Real Deal, the musician is currently in the process of finalizing the sale of the 11-bedroom, 10-bathroom home, a little over five years after he purchased it through an LLC for $33 million. It is unclear what the final sale price was.

Situated on a 1.2-acre lot, the Mediterranean-style spans 10,769 square feet, with a 184 feet of waterfront overlooking the Biscayne Bay. A private dock has room enough for several boats. The mansion was originally built in the 1920s but was substantially renovated by the owner who came before Collins, businessman Mark Gainor, who purchased the house from Jennifer Lopez in 2005 for $13.9 million.

Gainor added a 1,000-square-foot walk-in closet in the main suite, replaced the roof, and reconfigured all the rooms on the second floor, according to a 2015 Wall Street Journal article. An elevator and interior courtyard with a 6,000-gallon koi pond likely predated Gainor’s renovations, as did a 60-foot swimming pool and spa tub embedded into a coral stone deck.

The musician’s Miami Beach estate has been a point of contention over the past few months after Collins’s ex-wife Orianne Cevey reportedly refused to vacate the premises amid an ongoing divorce settlement dispute. She was ordered to leave the Miami Beach house last fall after Collins filed a lawsuit accusing her of “unlawful detainer and forcible entry,” according to People, and as part of an agreement, she and her new husband, Thomas Bates, will be moving off the premises later this month.
