Margaret Ewing, Eucalyptus Curtisii (BLACK & WHITE 2020)

Eucalyptus Curtisii (Plunkett or Brisbane Mallee) is a native to SE Queensland, growing up to 6 metres in height, the bark is smooth throughout, grey-green to white in colour that sheds in long strips leaving beautiful patterns. It bears masses of honey scented creamy-white flowers during September to November which attracts the birds, bees, butterflies and other insects. The older trees produce interesting shaped burls at the base of the tree.
