a native palm. 20-30’ tall, smooth attractive gray-brown trunk, with a crown of fan-like-barely-toothed fronds, small dark fruits, prefers dry areas, tough-will grow in sand, soil or cinder, prefers 0-300’ elevation, sun-part shade, slow growing but may be fertilized for faster growth
