Exclusive: Andrew Scott, Claire Foy, and Jamie Bell talk All of Us Strangers

Hitting theaters from Searchlight Pictures on Dec. 22 is All of Us Strangers, directed by Andrew Haigh and starring Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal, with Jamie Bell and Claire Foy.

From director Andrew Haigh. One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam (Andrew Scott) has a chance encounter with a mysterious neighbor Harry (Paul Mescal), which punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As a relationship develops, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell), appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before.

Produced by Graham Broadbent, Peter Czernin, and Sarah Harvey, the film premiered at the 2023 Telluride Film Festival.

Scott is best know for his portrayal of “Hot Priest” opposite Phoebe Waller-Bridge in Amazon’s “Fleabag” as well as his role as ‘Moriarty’ in the international hit series, “Sherlock”, for which he was awarded the BAFTA award for Best Supporting Actor. He most recently finished production on the Showtime limited series, “Ripley,” in which he plays the titular character, “Tom Ripley”, opposite Dakota Fanning.

Foy was last seen in Sarah Polley’s “Women Talking” alongside Jessie Buckley, Rooney Mara and Frances McDormand. She starred in the first two seasons of the Netflix juggernaut “The Crown,” and has received several accolades for her role as Queen Elizabeth II. Her additional credits include Damien Chazelle’s “First Man,” Fede Alvarez’s “The Girl in the Spider’s Web,” and Steven Soderbergh’s “Unsane.”

Bell recently played opposite Letitia Wright in Anthony Mandler’s “Surrounded,” and in Apple TV+’s “Shining Girls” with Elisabeth Moss. His most recent film projects included “Without Remorse” with Michael B. Jordan and Dexter Fletcher’s “Rocketman.”
