All Bugattis are special, but this one is a little bit more. This is the one-off Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Sang Bleu, built to celebrate the brand’s 100th anniversary, and it’s heading to auction at the start of March through RM Sotheby’s.
This Veyron Grand Sport Sang Bleu was presented at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in 2009. It stands out from all other Veyrons thanks to a combination of royal blue carbon fiber across the hood and rear section while the fenders and door panels are made from polished aluminum.
Bugatti initially displayed this Veyron at the Concept Lawn at Pebble Beach and after Monterey Car Week, it used it at a handful of other promotional events, including a private showcase at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The one-off passed into the hands of its first private owner in 2011 before being acquired by the current consignor in 2013.

Over the past decade, the hypercar has been shown at several events across the southeastern United States and in September last year, underwent a major service through Braman Motors in Miami, Florida. It has been driven just 2,793 miles (4,494 km) since new and still wears the factory-original Michelin tires.
The interior of the car is just as stunning as the exterior and is dominated by tan-colored leather with brushed aluminum accents and royal blue carbon fiber inserts across the dashboard. It also has special plaques on the sills reading ‘Centenaire 2009 Pebble Beach’ and looks to have been well cared for over the past 14 years.
While the Bugatti Veyron is an absolute icon, prices of used models have hovered between $1 million and $2 million for much of the last decade, but given the provenance of this example, we wouldn’t be surprised to see its value increase over the coming decade. The Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Sang Bleu is expected to sell for between $1.7 million and $2 million.
