We ask for your help in calling upon San Mateo County Officials to take emergency and long-term actions to address the erosion and disrepair of Mirada Road, at Miramar Beach in Half Moon Bay, CA.

Mirada Road is integral to the Coastal Trail between Surfer's Beach and the Medio Bridge. Tens of thousands of locals and visitors enjoy walking, biking, running, and driving along Mirada Road. It also provides access to Miramar Beach and treasured businesses such as the Miramar Beach Restaurant, an iconic landmark, The Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society, a historical jazz club, and unique residences.

However, the lack of regular maintenance by San Mateo County Public Works on Mirada Road is causing public safety and potentially catastrophic environmental issues that threaten our ability to enjoy this beloved area. Emergency vehicle access and a means for evacuation are critical issues that must be addressed.
