Germination Instructions
Sow indoors or under glass or directly in spring. Sow into moist, well-drained seed compost. Ideal temp 20°C. Germination takes 2 weeks approx. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle in clumps to a 1L pot filled with gritty compost. Allow to grow on under glass. Plant out in summer when well grown. Can be sown directly, sow 6mm deep into prepared soil in rows 30cm apart, direct germination can be erratic and slow. Thin seedlings as required.
Growing Instructions
Prefers a poor to moderately fertile, well-drained to sharply drained soil in full sun. Feed annually in spring if desired.
Cultivation Instructions
No pruning required. Propagate by seed or by division in spring.
